The Air Traffic Management Investigator will obtain ATS recorded information and transcribe air traffic services communications and analyses ATS log entries and ATS manuals and other relevant documents. She assists the Operations Investigator and the IIC investigating airport issues and with transcribing interview records and provides ATS analysis assistance.

The Operations Investigator, normally a pilot, will if possible, interview the pilots, cabin crew, passengers and other relevant witnesses with a view to determining the sequence of events that led to the accident or serious incident. They examine for example, flying procedures and techniques; human factors; aircraft performance; weather; airports; air traffic control and witness information.

Emerson Buidal has been with the Commission since June 2015. He has increased his professional capacity in the field of Engineering and been trained over the years

Judah Homingu recently joined PNG Accident Investigation Commission with the vision and drive to improve the Commission, and focused on developing skills to support instrumentation and electrical engineering aspect for Flight Data Recorders experience and integrity.

Joining us recently, Linda Vaso is one of our experienced team members. She brings years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization in the field of Safety Management Systems and Human Factors.

With 20 years of experienced in Cabin Safety. Lea Geno brings to AIC a wealth of knowledge and hundreds of hours of carrying out her duties on a range of different types of planes.

Recently joined the AIC as a Pilot with commercial and military background, Ishmael Vali has experience and skills that assists the organisation has welcomed.

Daniel Wan recently joined the AIC team in July this year. He brings with him years of experience into the Engineering operations Team.

Recently joined the team, Alwin Mas is one of our new team members. He will bring his years of experience and skills to the forefront in helping our organization grow and succeed.

Esther Aigilo joined the AIC in November 2018 and since then has taken on much of the Administration duties of the Investigations Operations Team with ease, she has proven herself to be valuable member of the team.

The Manager, Finance & Administration position is vacant and yet to be filled.

Esther has recently joined AIC and will be in charge or our Accounts department and payroll, she will report to the Manager, Finance & Administration.

Ignis has recently joined AIC and will be looking after our Human Resource & Personnel Management Department and will be reporting to our Manager, Finance & Administration.

Mariosu joined the AIC in the beginning of 2016 with over 13 years of experience as an IT professional. His continued support to ensuring the AIC IT Infrastructure is up-to-date and fit for purpose is well appreciated.

Patrick joined AIC in 2010 and has been with AIC since, he looks after our non technical assets and ensures the AIC fleet are maintained to safety standards.

Trevor assists with all Administration duties, which include, watching reception, doing bank runs, purchasing and procuring items, arranging quotations and driving duties, he reports to the Manager, Finance & Administration.

Both Jerry & Maitops are part of the Corporate support team who work together in proving security for the office building and staff.

Both Albert & Tom are part of the Corporate support team who work together in ensuring the office is kept clean at all times and all necessary amenities are kept neat and tidy.
